Bill Beach, MD, (President of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA)), announces the Surgical Outcomes System™ (SOS) as a new benefit to AANA members. AANA is providing SOS to all association members, with full utilization of SOS to collect patient reported outcomes data for future study and analysis. AANA is providing this benefit as part of their annual AANA membership dues at no additional charge to individual members. A recent focus of AANA and the Health Policies and Research Committees has been to create an efficient, reliable and user-friendly data collection system for AANA and its members. SOS provides AANA and its members a global, web-based registry that will make the collection of outcomes data simple and cost effective.
